DLT Earth case study: what Straatos built

Exponential Science’s DLT Earth published a case study on Straatos: a system that supports the full lifecycle of nature-based and carbon projects — from field data collection to credit issuance — with transparency and traceability built in, anchored on the open-source Hedera Guardian ledger.

Ground to ledger

The case study describes what Straatos replaces: the PDFs and spreadsheets that fragment a project’s record, swapped for structured, verified data with ground-to-ledger traceability — from planting and restoration through to how benefits are shared.

It frames Straatos as “integrity-by-design” infrastructure, built to solve three problems at once — data gaps and fragmentation, opacity around benefit-sharing, and low trust in impact claims — with a stakeholder-inclusive design so field teams, communities, verifiers and investors are all part of the record.
