First digitalized Verra methodology (VM0033) shipped

A carbon methodology is a long, dense document — the rules for how a particular kind of project is measured, reported and verified. Turning one into software a platform can actually run is a serious piece of engineering.

Straatos did it for Verra’s VM0033, the blue-carbon methodology for tidal wetland and seagrass restoration: a live, machine-readable implementation of around 30,000 lines of code, field-piloted on real mangrove restoration. It is the foundation the rest of the methodology roadmap builds on.
